I have used several of these signal boosters with great results each time. In various business settings it has boosted the signal strength by 300% at a minimum. In a couple of external applications with an omni-directional 15db antennae I am getting a great signal at 3000′ away (clear line of sight). It is well worth the price and is solidly built. Documentation is well written, and I’ve had no problems with any of the Hawking products that I have used in the past!

Worked well, but this MUST be attached to the PC – I didn’t understand this when ordering from Tiger. It does make a very high pitched whistling noise like the old TV’s used to make that is very annoying. I sent mine back to Tiger.

I did not get my desired result from this device. I am trying to connect from the first floor of a home to its basement, and I can only connect ”some” of the time. I suspect that I need two of these (one at the router end and one at the adapter end). It almost seems that repeaters are a more cost effective solution to the ”range” problem.

Setup was easy, configured in less than five minutes. However if your main router ever goes down it has an annoying habit of trying to associate to the next closest router. Then you have to reconfigure the device again. No big deal really but rather annoying if you have something to do.

I’ve been using this in my small business for about 6 months now, and it works great. My building is cement block construction and my router is at one end of the building. I could never get full wifi coverage until I got this. Now I have great signal all over, and it was really easy to set up.
